Around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, a male driver was traveling the wrong way down North Shepherd near I-10 when his vehicle struck an oncoming Chevrolet Suburban. As a result of the collision, the woman driving the Suburban suffered injuries to her neck and back. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment while the driver who caused the accident was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
